They seem to give greater fidelity and detail at slightly lower volumes though they're perfectly acceptable loud. I tried them on progressive rock and various classical pieces including some quite dense scores. They have an excellent dynamic range. The product includes three sizes of cushion and it's important to find the best fit to benefit by the bass these phones can give. Turning up the lowest equaliser band on my MP3 player (Sony) just one notch helped firm up the bass. A nice purchase. Having bought some Sound Magic E10s as a stop gap at an airport I was immediately surprised and impressed. I saw these listed and couldn't resist trying them. The sound from these is rounder, deeper, fuller and just better. The bluetooth connectivity is excellent. Great product. I usually use double flange tips but didn't initially as I thought I had lost them. I managed to find a pair, slapped them on and the E11 was transformed! Cancelled my return request.Do yourself a favour and get some good tips for these.
